Our client brought us a diamond — a pure, radiant 0.75-carat stone (approximately 6 mm in diameter). His request was simple yet meaningful: to transform this gem into a pendant that would be not just beautiful, but deeply personal.

The process began with melting the gold. Our artisans hand-melted 18K yellow gold to prepare the raw material. The resulting blank was then carefully rolled to the precise thickness required for shaping the bezel — a refined, elegant frame that would cradle and highlight the diamond.

Using a single gold strip, the jeweler formed the bezel by hand, refining its shape with precision. Tiny openings were pierced using a fine jeweler’s file, adding airiness and a graceful architectural rhythm. The base — an open, gallery-style foundation — was also crafted from 18K gold and soldered into place, completing the delicate structure.

After extensive polishing and detailing, the bezel was placed into warm pitch — a special jeweler’s compound — preparing it for the most essential step: the diamond and gemstone setting. The diamond was set by hand — firmly, flawlessly, and permanently.
