Midnight Orbit — Dark Blue Sapphire & Natural Diamond Pendant 14K Gold
The Midnight Orbit pendant is a jewelry object created in the aesthetics of Luxury Handmade Jewelry and High-End Jewelry, where form, contrast, and the depth of the gemstone take center stage.
At the heart of the composition lies a natural oval dark blue sapphire of a rare dark shade — almost black, with a cool blue undertone that reveals itself through movement and changing light. The stone is set in an oval bezel of 14K yellow gold, encircled by a dense pavé line of natural black diamonds, each set by hand.
The composition is built vertically and continues upward: a small natural white diamond set in 14K white gold connects the central element to the pendant bail. The bail itself is crafted in yellow gold and is also inlaid with black diamonds, forming a continuous line of light and a cohesive architectural structure.
Two-tone gold, black and white diamonds, and the deep dark blue sapphire — every element is governed by balance, proportion, and purity of form.
The piece is handcrafted in our independent jewelry atelier Marchioness Jewelry Boutique as part of our Custom Jewelry Toronto direction, where precision of setting, quality of execution, and a sense of completeness define the final result.
The pendant features 24 natural black diamonds with a diameter of 1.1 mm — 17 surrounding the central stone and 7 set into the bail.
A connecting accent is provided by a natural white diamond measuring 2.5 mm in diameter (approximately 0.05 ct), set in 14K white gold.
The central gemstone is a natural oval dark blue sapphire of a deep, dark hue.
